The EVO D350ce is the electrified acoustic guitar by Eko Guitars, with onboard Fishman Presys Blend system. Featuring a Dreadnought cutaway shape with Solid Cedar Top, 3-ply laminated Mahogany back and sides, Okoume neck and Branko Rosewood fingerboard, this guitar is well suited for both live performances and studio recording.
EKO EVO D350ce OVERVIEW
The EVO D350ce comes in Natural color with Satin finish and a Dreadnought cutaway shape, a feature that allows the guitarist to easily reach the higher frets. The combination of a Solid Cedar top with Mahogany back and sides, result of careful research, gives this instrument a wide and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on every single string. A remarkable feature is the presence of the Fishman Presys Blend: a high-performance amplification system consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, allowing you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the microphone signal to the piezo signal through a Blend pot. In addition to the output volume and the blend control, the EVO D350ce boasts a Tuner with display, a 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, High), and in case of feedback, a phase inversion switch and an anti-feedback knob allowing you to detect and cut the unwanted frequency. All these features together make the EVO D350ce a suitable instrument in professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage..
After two decades of research, Blackwood Tek, Algam's partner since 2015, has developed an ecological process, planting short-cycle pine forests in New Zealand (Pinus Radiata), which complies with the requirements of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). The production process ensures that this wood contains little moisture (only about 5%), is dense and resistant to changes in temperature or humidity. This means that it is not affected by the thermal changes that occur during transport, and is immediately ready to be used. By giving Branko Wood a darker color you get a perfect substitute for Ebony, while with a lighter color than Rosewood. Eko Guitars, part of the great Algam galaxy (which in Italy takes the name of AlgamEko), has been using Branko Rosewood on the EVO, MIA and ALPS series since 2021.
