The series consists of four Traveler (T) models, two Parlor (P) models, and one Bass (B) model, all featuring the Flex Blend amplification system by Fishman. This system combines a piezo pickup and an internal condenser microphone, allowing the player to blend the piezo signal with the microphone signal using a blend potentiometer. Controls include output volume, blend, a display tuner (activated by pressing the volume potentiometer), and a mid-scooped EQ control. At its minimum, the EQ remains flat; as it increases, mid frequencies are gradually reduced in favor of lows and highs, creating a mix-ready sound. For feedback issues, common in acoustic settings, the phase can be inverted by pressing the EQ potentiometer.
With a 610mm scale length, except for the Parlor models with a 630mm scale, and a 43mm nut width, the Marco Polo models are practical, comfortable, and ideal for musicians on the move. A specially developed semi-rigid case makes transportation easy and ensures maximum protection during travel.
A unique feature of Eko Guitars' Marco Polo series is the rosette, designed to include the word "traveler" engraved in languages from around the world.
