Ranger is undoubtedly the word that resonates most in Eko's history and has contributed to establishing it as a European brand icon. The new Ranger series revives the famous model from the '60s with 15 new versions: all featuring the iconic Ranger pickguard, these guitars come in dreadnought shapes, with and without cutaway, with and without preamp systems, and in various colors.

Originally named J-52, this guitar has been continuously updated and improved, leading to the J-54 (6-string) and J-56 (12-string) versions, which were renamed Ranger VI and Ranger XII in 1967. Renowned for their excellent quality-to-price ratio and durability, these guitars can still be found in many guitarists' homes, sometimes as decorative pieces in the living room. The Ranger acoustic guitars are crafted with spruce tops, linden sides and backs, okoume necks, and South American Roupanà fingerboards. The amplified models feature the Eko SE30 onboard preamp, which controls the piezo pickup and offers Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, Phase Inverter controls, and a display tuner.
