The Massimo Varini Signature is the Grand Auditorium-shaped acoustic-electric guitar from the Eko Guitars "Artist" series, an updated signature model by Massimo Varini following the success of the first version. Compared to the previous model, it features a deeper 106 mm body, 18:1 ratio tuning machines, a redesigned neck profile, and a 45 mm nut width. A major new feature is the dual amplification system, combining the Fishman Presys Blend (piezo + microphone) with the PB01 (magnetic pickup + microphone), complete with dual jack outputs. A padded gig bag is included.

Overview of the Eko Guitars Massimo Varini Signature
The Massimo Varini Signature was born from the collaboration with Massimo Varini, Project Leader at Eko Guitars, and was designed to meet the artistic and professional needs of the musician. Although all Eko guitars are developed under his supervision, this model represents the perfect combination of the features he has always sought in an instrument intended for live performance, studio recording, and songwriting.
It is an All Solid acoustic guitar with a Grand Auditorium (A) body shape, featuring a solid Cedar top, solid Rosewood back and sides, maple binding, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and headstock. Open Pore finish. The Vintage Butterbean-style open-gear tuning machines, with an 18:1 gear ratio, ensure precise tuning stability while providing a classic aesthetic.
The 628 mm scale length (short scale), combined with a 45 mm nut width, offers exceptional playing comfort, delivering a natural feel for both accompaniment and solo techniques.
One of the standout features of the Massimo Varini Signature is its sophisticated amplification system, consisting of two independent electronic systems that provide four sound sources, which can be used separately or blended together.
The Eko PB01 (Power Blend 01) system combines a magnetic pickup with a condenser microphone mounted on an adjustable gooseneck, allowing precise positioning for capturing the guitar's internal resonance. Alongside it is the Fishman Presys Blend, featuring a piezo pickup and condenser microphone, complete with tone controls, phase inversion, built-in tuner, and blend control between the piezo and microphone.
The two electronic systems feature independent 1/4" jack outputs, allowing separate signals to be sent to mixers, amplifiers, or recording systems, providing maximum flexibility for both live performances and studio applications.
The first production run is available as a Limited Edition of only 96 instruments. From a construction standpoint, the instrument is identical to the standard production model, but each Limited Edition guitar is personally inspected and tested by Massimo Varini, who certifies its setup and compliance with the original design specifications.
Each instrument features its own sequential serial number (1/96, 2/96, etc.) personally applied by Massimo Varini on the back of the headstock and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, confirming the inspection performed on the instrument. The guitar also includes a beautiful Eko Guitars gig bag.
