The WOW D800e SS is the electrified All Solid acoustic guitar by Eko Guitars, with onboard Fishman Flex Blend system. Featuring a Dreadnought shape with Solid Italian Spruce Top, Sapele back and sides, Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard, this guitar is a high-end instrument well suited for the professional doing live performances and studio recording.

WOW, acronym for Wood Of the World Series, but also the exclamation of those who see these guitars for the first time, represents the top of the range of the EKO catalog. Every single guitar is unique and each wooden part is selected from a wide range of fine raw materials such as Cocobolo, Ovangkol, Koa, Ebony, Sapele, and others. The whole WOW series is All Solid, therefore, with top, sides and back in solid wood, the nature of the wood is enhanced in favor of a particularly specific tone.
For each instrument, Master Luthier Roberto Fontanot carefully selects tonewoods to create masterpieces that will be the joy of every musician. The variety of tonewoods used for back and sides of each individual guitar will give the six strings completely different characteristics in terms of sound.
For the Top, Italian Spruce was chosen in the most figured versions of the highest quality grade, sourced from a region of the Alps known for supplying woods used in the production of the world's finest violins - only a few manufacturers have access to these private stocks.
The Wow D800e SS comes in Natural color with Gloss finish, with Dreadnought shape. The combination of a Solid Spruce top with Solid Sapele back and sides, result of careful research, gives this instrument a very wide tonal spectrum always well balanced on every single string.
A remarkable feature is the presence of the Fishman Flex Blend: a high-performance amplification system consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, allowing you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the microphone signal to the piezo signal through a Blend pot. In addition to the output volume and the Blend control, the Wow D800e SS boasts a Tuner with display (that can be activated by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control working in "mid-scooped" mode: set it at minimum for a flat signal, then increase it to gradually reduce the mid frequencies enhancing bass and treble, very convenient to get a sound ready for the mix.
