Given the excellence of this instrument, we decided to keep on our catalogue an Oliviero Pigini guitar with some small changes. The color of the neck is now mahogany and the scale is 650mm instead of 630 mm of the LTD edition. The production is not numbered so available to everyone.
Oliviero Pigini founded Eko in 1959. To celebrate 55 years of EKO, in 2014 we introduced a LTD edition guitar in his honor, only 55 numbered Oliviero Pigini guitars were produced.

Built with the Profumosa in mind - the Profumosa is a Made in Italy guitar part of the EKO Masterbuilt series. The shape is an 018 (OM) but with a full scale of 650mm and 45mm nut width to meet the taste of fingerpicker.
Real abalone inlays for the rosette and the binding, carefully placed by hand, make this instrument a perfect demonstration of EKO's fine guitar building expertise.
Selected Solid Sitka Spruce for the top, selected solid Rosewood for back and sides. Ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays, the bridge is also made of ebony wood, for a fast and clear response that completes the strong and powerful sound thanks to the rosewood.
