Overview of the ST-451 Transparent by Eko Guitars

The ST-451 Transparent Green, Transparent Sunburst, Transparent Butterscotch and Transparent White are electric guitars from the "Tribute 400" series by Eko Guitars. The Tribute 400 series was created to offer all guitarists, especially beginners and those looking for a first instrument with superior performance, an instrument with features similar to guitar models that have made music history, but with modern content and a fantastic quality/price ratio.

Lightweight Paulownia body and superior comfort

The heart of the ST-451 is the Paulownia body in Strat Style shape with Gloss finish. Paulownia is an extremely lightweight and resonant wood, which guarantees a lively response and exceptional comfort even during long practice sessions and rehearsals. Despite its lightness, it maintains a bright and present tone, perfect for playing pop, blues, rock and funky. The double cutaway design ensures comfortable access even to the last of the 22 Medium Jumbo frets.

Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard

Both neck and fingerboard are made of Roasted Maple, thermally treated for greater stability, resistance to humidity variations and an amber, professional look typical of high-end instruments. The profile is Eko Low C, smooth and modern, with a Satin finish on the back to prevent the hand from sticking. The fingerboard with 14" radius, 648mm scale and 42mm nut width offers fluid playability for both chords and lead parts, facilitating bending and legato.

HSS electronics and total versatility

The ST-451 features Eko Vintage pickups in H-S-S configuration with Volume, 2 Tone controls and 5-way blade switch. This combination offers a complete sonic palette: from the warm and singing sound of the neck pickup, to the balanced sound of the middle one, to the more powerful and defined sound of the humbucker at the bridge, ideal for crunch and lead. The intermediate positions deliver classic "scooped" and bright sounds perfect for funky rhythms and crystal-clear cleans.

Professional hardware: 2-pivot bridge and Locking tuners

Unlike entry-level series, the Tribute 400 introduces evolved hardware. The bridge is an Eko modern tremolo with 2-pivot, smoother and more stable than the vintage 6-screw version, which allows delicate vibrato effects while better maintaining tuning. The tuners are Eko Chrome Locking tuners, which ensure superior tuning stability, quick string changes and greater stability, a detail normally reserved for higher-category guitars. The tortoiseshell pickguard completes the look and enhances the four transparent finishes.

Four transparent finishes for every style

The ST-451 is available in four colors that let the wood grain show through: Transparent Green, modern and edgy, Transparent Sunburst, the timeless classic, Transparent Butterscotch, with vintage inspiration, and Transparent White, elegant and minimal. All are strung with Eko 10-46 Regular Set strings and are ready to accompany the guitarist at every stage of their musical journey.
