The CS-5 Satin and CS-10 Satin are the new classical guitars from the Studio series by Eko Guitars that introduce three features normally reserved for higher-end models into the affordable range: the satin finish, the transparent pickguard and the dot fret markers on the fingerboard. Available in 3/4 size for younger players and standard 4/4 size, they are the ideal instrument to start learning with a professional playing feel and aesthetic.

The Studio series was created to offer everyone, especially beginners, an instrument with features inspired by models that have made classical guitar history, while maintaining an excellent quality-price ratio. The Satin versions evolve this concept with a more modern, natural and comfortable touch.

Strengths of the CS-5 Satin and CS-10 Satin

The first strength is the satin finish on body and neck. Unlike the glossy finish, the matte satin finish is silkier to the touch, does not retain fingerprints, does not reflect light and makes the neck smoother and faster. An aesthetic and functional choice that lets the wood breathe better and gives the instrument a more professional and less plasticky look.

The second distinctive detail is the transparent pickguard. It protects the soundboard from pick strokes without hiding its grain. Unlike traditional black or tortoiseshell pickguards, it keeps the look clean, minimal and modern, leaving the full beauty of the top visible.

It features an Agathis top, laminated Linden back and sides, Mahogany neck and Birch fingerboard with dot inlays, 18 frets and dual-action truss rod. It comes with a light soft gigbag.

CS-10 Satin: the standard 4/4

The CS-10 Satin is the full-size 4/4 classical guitar from the Studio series by Eko Guitars. It is the ideal instrument for teenagers and adults who want to start learning with a standard-sized guitar. It features a Linden top, laminated Linden back and sides, Birch neck and fingerboard with dot inlays, 52mm nut width, 650mm scale, 18 frets and dual-action truss rod. It comes with a light soft gigbag. The satin finish over the entire guitar makes it comfortable and ready for long practice sessions.
